Oyíndàmọ́lá Aláká is a dynamic nonprofit leader, community advocate, and changemaker whose work centres on youth development, gender equity, arts and cultural engagement, and grassroots leadership. Born in Lagos, Nigeria, and raised between Lagos and Winnipeg, Manitoba, she brings a unique transnational perspective to her work, drawing on her lived experience to foster inclusion, belonging, and opportunity. As Director of Programs at Career Trek Inc., she leads province-wide career development initiatives that connect young people with education, mentorship, and pathways to meaningful careers through partnerships with government, educational institutions, and industry.

Oyíndàmọ́lá’s commitment to equity and community impact has earned her several prestigious honours, including the Young Bridge Builder Award at the inaugural Government of Manitoba Mosaic Awards in 2025 and the Sybil Shack Youth Award from the Manitoba Human Rights Commission. Through her leadership, advocacy, and collaborative approach, she continues to inspire positive social change while empowering the next generation to reach their full potential.
