Olawunmi Sola-Otegbade is a Canadian-based media entrepreneur, broadcaster, author, and communications professional with more than 20 years of experience in journalism and broadcasting. She is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Swifte Radio, Canada’s multicultural digital radio station, where she leads programming, editorial direction, and strategic growth. She is also the Convener of the Manitoba Immigrant Excellence Merit Awards (MIEMAS), an initiative established to recognize and celebrate the outstanding achievements of Black, immigrant, and diverse communities across Manitoba.

Before relocating to Canada, Olawunmi built a distinguished broadcasting career in Nigeria with organisations including RayPower 100 FM, NTA, and UNILAG FM. A certified broadcaster, author of Basic Presentation Skills, and former speech presentation trainer, she has dedicated her career to empowering voices and fostering inclusive storytelling. Through Swifte Radio and MIEMAS, she continues to strengthen multicultural journalism, promote community engagement, and create platforms where diverse stories and achievements are recognised and celebrated.
